THE GUIDE
The Guide was not always a doll. Millennia ago at the dawn of history there was a wolf spirit whose den was within the realm of the dreams of early Man. He was a well traveled explorer of those places. As such he was valued amongst the early Gods. This would not always be so however, for a dire transgression (some say it was a forbidden romance) led to his banishment from the land of the Gods. Trapped on Earth, he was an imaginary being lost in the world of the real. Being a consummate explorer, this was not the worst fate for him. Having already explored the Dreams of Man from within, he welcomed the opportunity to explore them from without. But in order to better explore the world of reality, he needed a body of substance. He befriended a young shaman who had the power to see him. The boy had a talent for crafting doll like fetishes and binding the spirits to them. as a favor to his spirit ally, he crafted a special doll and binded the Guide's spirit to it.
