THE REFLECTION
The Reflection was a marionette once owned by an old crone who lived in 16th century Italy. The crone's name was Isabelle and she wasn't always a crone. She was beautiful as a youth, and at an early age she left a privileged but dull home in pursuit of adventure and romance... his name was Tamas. he was a puppeteer, a Gypsy, and very handsome. He wandered the countryside with his travelling show. The Gypsy troupe took a liking to Isabelle and in very little time, welcomed her in. Tamas fashioned Isabelle her own marionette and a part in the show. They would've lived happily ever after had the Gypsies not inadvertently offended a spiteful lord. The lord had them arrested and when they escaped he had them hunted down... but tragically Tamas was killed helping his Isabelle escape... she was the only one who survived. She continued to travel. She continued the puppet show. albeit by herself. In her loneliness and growing delirium, Truth, her marionette became her only friend and only thing real to her...
